Butch Jimenez

Menardo “Butch” Jimenez is an author, speaker, and film producer. Along with his father, Menardo Jimenez, Butch is an achiever and a Filipino leader.

He has been the Senior Vice President of Business Transformation at PLDT Inc. since January 1, 2017, and he has been Senior Vice President at PLDT Inc. since December 9, 2004. He also serves Smart as their Officer-In-Charge of the Mobile Consumer Division. Butch serves as the President of the TOYM Foundation to both MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. and PLDT Foundation, Inc.

Butch earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at the University of The Philippines and has also been involved in numerous Philippine film productions. In fact, he is the producer of notable Filipino movies like Sa Pusod ng Dagat, José Rizal, and Muro-Ami. He also serves as the writer and producer for Deathrow.

Aside from producing internationally recognized movies, Butch also founded Trumpets Theater Company, which has produced top musical plays such as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Joseph the Dreamer, and Little Mermaid.

He was the Creative Director and Head of a Creative Services and Network Promotions at GMA Network, Inc., while also serving as the head producer and copywriter for the network’s various multi-media campaign.
