PATRICIA HIZON
Patricia “Shaan” Bermudez-Hizon is a sportscaster and television host.
As active as the athletes she has been accustomed to rubbing elbows with, she began her career as a courtside reporter for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) in 2002. Since then, she has been known as the first-ever female basketball television reporter, radio anchor, and basketball courtside analyst in the country.
Outside of the hard court, she was also a newscaster for the government station, PTV. She also hosted many public affairs shows, election coverage, lifestyle and travel shows, and even documentaries for Lakbay TV, Isla Channel, and Living Asia Channel.
She is also a brand ambassador and popular events host, further cementing her place in the public eye. An all-around humanitarian, she is the founder of the Everyday Is Your Birthday Foundation and the Director of the High Five Hope Foundation and has been a constant presence in charity work.
She is also an advocate for the Beauty, Brains, and Breastfeeding campaign for UNICEF and the current TV5 Head of Sports. Shaan is also a motivational speaker and she is the only Filipino to be included in the roster of presenters for the London Speaker Bureau.
