sustained and effective execution can guarantee success. Navigating a strategy and
implementing a plan has been one of the most difficult challenges companies and managers
face. According to an economist survey, up to 57% of firms struggle to efficiently execute
strategic plans and achieve their goals.
Building Blocks of Execution is a look at the foundations and discipline of how managers can get
things done to deliver superior results. Execution is a discipline. Execution is the job of the
leader. Execution is a culture. And execution requires constructive and persistent governance.
