Mr. Ed Patron started his career in 1980 as a Region Market Analyst in San Miguel Corporation, Southeast Asia’s largest food, beverage and packaging company. As a young professional, he became a Route Salesman in 1982, personally driving trucks around the city and provinces to sell and meet company quotas. His grueling experiences taught him the foundations of becoming a great and effective sales person.
Due to his hard work, determination, and productivity, he was promoted to be the Region Sales Manager and was later assigned as Sales Director – AVP. When the company expanded its international market, he was tasked to manage sales for the International Division in 1997, being assigned to manage various countries and cities in Southeast Asia.
In 2000, He moved to handle sales for Kraft Foods International based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2005, he was hired to handle sales for Splash Corporation, the only Filipino company among the biggest companies in the personal care industry in the Philippines.
Mr. Ed Patron is now the Head and Director for Sales of Sky Cable, the Philippines’ largest cable television provider, controlling 45 percent of the cable TV market.
